Resources for the Research Administrator
Your departmental research administrator maintains a library of resource materials in order to competently administer your research project. Many of these resources are available on the web and are linked through the Sponsored Projects web page. Keeping informed of regulations and the changes to those regulations is difficult. Be sure that your research administrator networks with the other research administrators on campus and subscribes to the RAMTALK listserv, which is Sponsored Projects’ listserv for general announcements and discussion. Sponsored Projects hosts a series of workshops in grants and contracts administration and coordinates several meetings per year for all interested research administrators. Call Sponsored Projects (626-6000) to subscribe to RAMTALK and to be included on the mailing list.
